The heated 11m swimming pool is shared between the two cottages and is fully fenced for peace of mind with young children.
Les Tamaris is set in the village of Corpe, in the south Vendee, within easy reach of safe, clean atlantic beaches (25 minutes from La Faute sur Mer) and in an area rich in holiday activities & sites to visit. Corpe is a typical French village, with it's rural atmosphere and its bar/bakery (just round the corner from Les Tamaris). The pretty Vendee town of Lucon is only 5 minutes away, where you will find fine restaurants, good shops & supermarkets and an excellent market twice a week. Also 5 minutes from the riverside town of Mareuil sur Lay, well-known for its local wines and offering canoes on the river, and further restaurants.

Well-known for its exceptional climate, the Vendee offers miles of golden sands, water sports, rich and varied countryside, its fascinating marshlands and numerous holiday attractions and activities. Les Tamaris is well-situated in a quiet rural location yet within easy access of some of the best Vendee beaches. it's just a half-hour drive to the coast at La Faute sur Mer or La Tranche sur Mer, where you will find vast sandy beaches, backing onto dunes and pine forests.
There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Midway between the two major attractions of the Vendee; the fabulous history theme park of "Le Puy du Fou" - an unforgettable day out for all the family, and the well-known canals and waterways of the "Green Venice" area to explore by punt or canoe. There are many historic forts and chateaux with pageants and activities throughout the season, as well as exotic gardens to visit, endless cycle trails and many other tourist attractions that are great for the children. Further afield, the south Vendee is close to the charming town of La Rochelle which makes a lovely day trip (just 40 minutes from Les Tamaris). To the north is the historic town of Nantes and off the coast there are the magical islands of Yeu, Belle Isle and Noirmoutier.
